Wind blows with maximum ( 22 Km / Hrs or higher) in the month of February and on set of monsoon season i.e. in end of May and first week of June. This is due to generating low pressure area in this region.
Rest of time wind speed is below 5 to 7 Km./Hrs.
A maximum wind speed of 114 km/hr was recorded on 22nd May, 1970.
