“The project will completed this August and we are ready to stage the India-Australia test here in November.” asserted Adv Shankar Manohar,Precident VCA as a showcased his dream project to “The Hitwada”.

“Only the finishing touch are on..In the Week everything will be completed and the club house will be inaugurated on the evening of April 25.” Manohar Informed.

The structure built on area of 50,000 sq.ft.,has all the modern amenities under one roof. The 7000 sq.ft. Banquet hall is equipped with 40 Air conditioner. Another party hall of around 60 person is ready on the first floor. The specious 62,000 sq.ft. Lawn too will host parties,Manohar said.
Oasis,The Air Conditioned multi-cuisine restaurant , will be serving delicious Indian and continental food at distinctive minimal rates. Some will be the casein the watering Hole , the spacious bar.
“Quantity is the buzzword but the remarkably afforded rates,”stress Manohar.
Twenty luxurious room of 400 sq.ft. Each on two floors with plush interior and four suites added the glory. The Gymnasium has been furnished with the latest equipment. Two wooden badminton courts are ready while the table tennis has the one table for the interested paddlers. Two billiards table awaits the enthusiasts while for the having an ace up their sleeves the card room is fully functional.

Overlooking the club house is Manohar's dream, the new stadium. Form the center of the ground that has lush green Bermuda grass spread over 85 yards, the towering stand covered with roof gives one the feel of standing the manmoth coliseum.
The ground has four wickets in north-south direction. The stadium also take care of the spectators' comfort with bucket seats installed in all stands.

The approach road has been widened and all issue related with its connectivity will be resolve soon,the VCA president said.

The stadium will also house 31 cooperate boxes in the south stand and 10 in the north stand. All boxes will be air-conditioned and have15 seats each.
The south end will be have VIP boxes,press box and the players' pavilions.
The players dressing room situated on the first floor, are huge with each consisting of sit-out, a gym,a medical room and lunch room. A staircase will lead the players straight into the ground.
The project being built by eminent design and construction compony,M/S Shapoorji Pallonji & Co.Ltd. Mumbai was earlier set a deadline of august 2007 but the design underwent a lot of changes extending the time period by the year. With the new design the stadium will have a capacity to accommodate 45,000 peoples.
No big Hole in the pocket:
“The total cost of the stadium and house is Rs 75 crore,” Manohar informed.
And yet the figure is far less to compare to ongoing work of other stadium. Maharashtra Cricket Association's new stadium coming near the Mumbai- Pune express Highway will cost around Rs 250 crore. The rennovation work of Firozashaha Kotala stadium, New Dehli itself cost Rs.75 crore.
“We have the capacity to take care of additional expenses. Whatever be the case we will never compromise on quality,” Said a confident Manohar
